Become a Judge for the Capital Cup Undergraduate Mooting Tournament
To become a judge for the tournament, you will need to have:
- previous experience mooting (not necessary but recommended)
- be a student currently attending law school in Canada (if you are attending law school outside of Canada, please notify us) OR a legal professional (ie. a lawyer, law clerk or judge) working in Canada
Practitioners in Ontario should note that the Capital Cup has been deemed an eligible education activity by the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC) for the completion of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours. Lawyers who act as tournament justices ARE responsible for independently logging their hours with the LSUC.
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS AS JUDGES.
